Focus On The Positive In Life

Philippians 4:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

⁸ For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].

 

If I allow myself to dwell on the domino effects that our country is in the midst of, then I will lose my God given peace and spiral into terror.  With two little girls to guide, inspire and raise, that is just not a position that I can be in.  I have to show them that even when things are not going along the path that we want them to, there is still power to focus on the positive and turn things around when we keep GOD the center of our lives.

 

Today I am choosing to do exactly what God's Word instructs me to do.  I decided to take a walk this morning and focus on all of the beauty that God has created around me.  There is wonder all around, even in the simplest thing as leaves.
